Clinical Pilates at Body Lab

Body Lab sessions are conducted in a fully equipped Pilates studio, comprising mat work and equipment based exercise.  Following your initial assessment, a personalised program will be designed to directly address your body's needs.

Pilates in its current form is a total body conditioning method appropriate for all ages, fitness levels.

Clinical Pilates is a form of Pilates delivered by physiotherapists. It combines traditional Pilates principles with current physiotherapy knowledge to target specific injuries, movement patterns, and functional goals. It is quite different to “Reformer Pilates” or “Mat Pilates”, which are generally large group classes where everyone is doing the same thing. In Clinical Pilates, each program is individually tailored.

Body Lab specialises in intimate, focused practice, which is why we only take three clients per session. To begin pilates with us, we require that you take both an initial 1:1 session for one hour, and a follow-up 1:1 session for 30 minutes.

These two initial sessions we believe are integral to learning pilates. In order to book these sessions, please call us on (03) 9822 2302, email admin@bodylab.com.au or book below.

Once these sessions are completed, you will be able to use our timetable apps to book yourself in for classes.
