Pilates at Body Lab

Initial Pilates Assessment (1:1, 60 minutes in duration)

Before commencing studio sessions, all clients are required to attend an initial 1-hour assessment. A comprehensive injury history will be recorded, a biomechanical assessment is performed, basic Pilates principles are taught (including correct spinal alignments and breathing), specific biomechanical focuses are established, and deep core muscle contraction is assessed and taught via Real-time ultrasound.

Initial Pilates Studio Session (1:1, 30 minutes in duration)

Following the initial Pilates assessment, clients are required to attend a further private (1:1) class conducted in the Pilates studio. This session will consolidate Pilates principles and techniques, clearly outline goals, strengths and weaknesses, and ensure safety procedures for use of equipment are understood.

Studio Sessions (3:1, 60 minutes in duration)

Group Pilates classes at Body Lab contain a maximum of 3 clients per instructor. Sessions are conducted in a fully equipped Pilates studio, comprising mat work and equipment based Pilates utilizing reformers, trapeze tables, Pilates barrels, combo chairs and other strength and balance equipment.

In 10 sessions you’ll feel the difference,
in 20 you’ll see the difference,
and in 30, you’ll have a new body.
