Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
Body Lab's musculoskeletal physiotherapists are qualified in treating a wide range of injuries resulting in pain and movement dysfunction, which commonly impact our daily lives and reduce our ability to function at the highest level.

Sports Physiotherapy
Sports Physiotherapists help diagnose, treat and rehabilitate both acute and chronic sporting injuries. Our sports physios have an in-depth understanding of the demands of both amateur and elite sport, including timelines for return to training, sport, and competition. Body Labs sports physios will ensure your management and rehabilitation is sport specific (appropriate for your sport).

Dry Needling
Dry needling is an adjunctive treatment technique, whereby fine acupuncture needles are used to treat soft tissue tension abnormalities created by muscle and fascial tightness, and trigger points.

Trigger pints in muscle tissue result in pain, inflammation, and movement restriction. Current research supports the use of dry needling to reduce the inflammatory chemicals at the site of the trigger point, and stimulate the neural and circulatory systems to improve tissue health and increase range of motion.

At Body Lab dry needling may be used by your physiotherapist or myotherapist as an adjunct to treatment, to improve treatment outcomes.
